Kourosh “KP” Parsi is an accomplished filmmaker, director, producer and cinematographer with nearly three decades of professional experience in film and media production. Since beginning his career in 1996, KP has worked on more than 500 productions spanning feature films, documentaries, television, music videos, commercials and emerging AI-driven content.

His experience extends across virtually every stage of the filmmaking process—from creative development, cinematography and directing to production planning, budgeting, crew management, editing, color, visual effects and final delivery. His technical background includes traditional 16mm and 35mm motion-picture film as well as modern digital cinema, virtual production and contemporary post-production workflows.

​

Throughout his career, KP has served as a director, producer and cinematographer on numerous independent film projects. His credits include Cold Highway, Time to Fall in Love, Gun or Dance, The Kiss, Treasure Hunter and other narrative and commercial productions.

As Director of Film Production and Cinematographer of the Do Something Tour Documentary, KP brings both creative vision and extensive hands-on production experience to the project. His ability to combine cinematic storytelling with disciplined production management is particularly valuable to a documentary of this scale—one that requires a small, mobile production team to capture compelling stories across the country while maintaining production quality, schedule and budget.
